Check out The Galloping Galette in downtown Braselton (located between Naked South Boutique and Cotton Calf) and be instantly transported to France! Authentic French cuisine (Galettes and Crepes!) from authentic French owners with delightful service- definitely a 10!
Warning- it's much more filling than you would think!! I was stuffed after my La Bretonne (mozzerella, cinnamon apples, sausage) but just HAD to splurge for La Chocolate crepe- it's my favorite!

Have you ever REALLY experienced Braselton if you haven't stopped at Local Station? I don't think so! It's a Braselton staple.
Local Station is THE spot in Braselton for lunch or dinner, drinks with the ladies, or just a snack on the patio! The drinks are delicious, service is stellar, and the food is great (I had a less-than-stellar lunch today, but the service took care of it!).
Personally, I love to enjoy the patio or fresh air at the bar with a yummy drink and delicious salad. What's your favorite thing at Local Station?

I love all things LOCAL! I mean, Georgia does have the BEST of everything. So I adore the concept behind Joy Company Market in downtown Braselton- a local shop owned by local people selling local goods!
They truly have a little bit of everything: fresh produce from local farmers (delivered on Thursdays, I hear!); local honey, spices, and herbs; fresh meats and cheeses; bread mixes; local beers; and so, so much more! Even some really cute gift ideas like decorative dish towels, cups, etc.
I'll be stopping back in later this week to pick up a mum for my front porch to start decorating for fall, y'all.

Could anyone else eat pizza EVERY day and not get sick of it?? I certainly could! So I was thrilled to hear a new pizza spot was opening- Super Baked Pizza & Wings!
Located next to the U-Haul spot on 53 (close to Moonshiners and Cork & Keg), if you blink, you may miss it! But it is SO worth seeking them out! Fresh baked pizza (reminds me of a Marcos style pizza), plus a LOOOONG menu of other yummy-sounding items. I can't wait to try some other things on the menu!

1. We have a room devoted just to children and their activities. We have toys and books and this is where we hold story time. The children enjoy having their own space where they don't have to be so quiet.
2. Being in a small community, we are very interconnected with our patrons. We know almost all of them, know about their families, what they like to read and they seem like they just enjoy talking to us.
3. Also being in a small community, we are involved in community outreach. Along with the City of Maysville government, we host a community Egg Hunt at Easter and participate in the Fall Festival and parade in October.
4. Classes/Events include: Adult Spanish Classes (Monday), Storytime (Monday), Sewing Group (2nd and Last Tuesday) and Book Club (Second Thursday)

1. The Commerce Public Library is home to the Dorothy and Lamartine G. Hardman Jr. History Room, a wealth of local and state history as well as pictures, newspapers and microfilm. monthly programs on Korean Culture.
2. The library also has a Memorial Garden where families can sit and enjoy a good book or have a picnic.
3. We offer monthly programs on various aspects of Korean Culture.
4. We have ESL classes, an interactive children’s program called Kidsercise and new Anime Club for teens among much more.

Revival Hall Taproom- With a huge, ever-changing variety of delicious drinks (plus some non-alcoholic treats), different food trucks on Fridays & Saturdays, and frequent special events (Comedy Night, Game Night, Live Music, etc.), Revival is the perfect place for a fun date night!
Blake's of Braselton- I love the charm & ambiance at Blake's for a date night! Drinks & snacks, live music on the weekends, and beautiful outdoor seating.
Local Station- Located in the heart of Braselton, Local Station features yummy drinks and a great view of charming Braselton. Grab a seat on the patio and enjoy a delicious meal!
Cotton Calf Kitchen- Looking for more elegance in your date night? Cotton Calf is the place for you! Melt-in-your-mouth steaks are the highlight of the menu, along with yummy drinks and a cool atmosphere. It's a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it for the quality of food and service!
Strange Duck Brewing- Located in Commerce, this new brewery is a great addition to Jackson County and would be perfect for a date night! Grab a cold beer, grab a spot outside, and enjoy the view! Weekend food trucks, some live music, and hopefully they will eventually get the putt-putt up and running!
Braselton Brewing Company- The owners of BBC took an old mill house and converted it to a beautiful, industrial-inspired brewery! With a variety of indoor and outdoor seating (outdoor seating is dog friendly!), a yummy menu (beer cheese & pretzels, anyone?), some live music, and delicious brews, this is a popular destination for local date nights!
In the spirit of the Braselton Artisan & Antique Festival this weekend (yipee!), I thought what better way to celebrate than to celebrate TWO local Artisan & Antique shops directly across the street from each other!
I've been a fan of The Porch Frog since their old location; they always have the best gifts and some adorable furniture pieces! I am new to Pretty Petals & Pickin's but stopped in a couple weeks ago and loved some of their items! I had also been eyeballing some adorable metal pieces they had hanging outside.
Both of these shops, located directly across the street from each other on 53 in downtown Hoschton, are GREAT for gifts or decor!
