What is iServe Ministries?
iServe Ministries is a local 501c3 non-profit organization that is trying to end generation poverty in our community. We give away 30,000+ pounds of food 3x a month (2nd Saturday in Commerce, 3rd Tuesday in Pendergrass, 4th Saturday in East Athens) to families that are struggling with food insecurity. We also partner with the school systems in Jackson and Madison Counties to send our Bags of Love (backpacks full of food) home every weekend school is in with families that are struggling with weekend food supply.
iServe is serving more families than ever via our 2 food programs. In 2024 we sent home 12,256 Bags of Love through 24 schools- a 22% increase over 2023.
How can I get involved with iServe Ministries?
VOLUNTEERS- All ages welcome! 3 mobile giveaways monthly, groups of 10 or more to pack Bags of Love every week school is in session.
Financial donations and support through the Annual Golf tournament, Breakfast and Toy Giveaway are also appreciated.
